Nick Offerman On For Diablo Cody's Pic

He's joining Russell Logo and the restWhen he isn't busy to be the epitome of small-town awesome as Ron effing Swanson upon us telly comedy Parks & Entertainment, Nick Offerman adds his considerable comedy and general acting chops to movies. And today he's signed onto Diablo Cody's still-untitled directorial debut.The film, that was once (and could yet be) known as Lamb Of God, finds Footloose's Julianne Hough as Lamb, a devoutly religious youthful lady who suffers terrible burns inside a plane crash. The distressing experience causes her to renounce her belief and then leave her parents in Washington, D.C. for Las vegas, where she looks to re-invent herself by providing directly into sin.But it is there that they meets buddies for example bartenders William (Russell Brand) and craps dealer Loray (Octavia Spencer, who may be entitled Oscar champion Octavia Spencer when the weekend has ended) who help her observe that there could just be some middle ground.There is no word on who Offerman will have, and you'll place your bets now whether he goes full 'tache or 'tache-less. He's joining a cast which includes Carol Hunter and Phil Austin.Cody is establishing to shoot the film shortly. Offerman will next be observed in 21 Jump Street (out here 16 March) and Casa P Mi Padre alongside Will Ferrell, that has yet to lasso a United kingdom release date.
