Grisoni, Kapadia join Microwave
LONDON -- "Fear and Loathing in Las vegas" scribe Toni Grisoni and "Senna" helmer Asif Kapadia are among people who had been shortlisted for an additional round of Film London's low-budget Microwave program. The program, is also backed by BBC Films and Skillset, has selected 12 feature pic projects to achieve success over the following round, and may uncover their location all take part in a four-day "boot camping" -- Microschool -- which starts Monday mixing training courses and masterclasses focusing on specific micro-budget subjects, alongside designated project development. Each team will probably be mentored with a recognised director, author or producer, for instance Pete Travis, Clio Barnard, Ali Clark and Jane Wright, to develop the project as well as the team.
