NBCUniversal taps Morgan Stanley professional as CFO

NBCUniversal has drawn on Morgan Stanley's Stuart J. Epstein as chief financial officer. Stanley, that has been controlling director of Morgan Stanley and global mind from the firm's media and communications group, will join the organization in mid-October. Epstein have been a proper agent to Comcast, a Morgan Stanley client, because it acquired a controlling stake in NBCU from General electric and Vivendi. He'll are accountable to NBCU Boss Steve Burke. Burke stated inside a statement that Epstein "is really a wise, capable leader having a deep knowledge of the media business. Getting known Stuart for a long time, I'm also sure that he'll be an excellent cultural fit for NBCU." Epstein first became a member of Morgan Stanley back in 1984, rising with the ranks before he was named global mind from the media and communications group in March 2008.
